About Me

My name is Thomas Loris. I’m a freelance director of photography, editor and director. My interest for filmmaking started at the age of fifteen and has rapidly developed to a passion which I love to share. I look at things from a different, more unconventional and also critical perspective which has its origin in my studies of media-planning, -development and -consulting at the University of Siegen, Germany.

During the twelve years of my career I have been privileged to see many places all over the globe, which made me long to see and experience the world even more. Most important are the people I met during my work. They inspired and supported me while working on projects for a broad range of clients. The collaboration of our talents and competences made us always be one step ahead.

I love simple and smart designed products. I’m a social media enthusiast. I love films beside the hollywood mainstream and I’m crazy about having good food.

Mein Interesse für Film, Fotografie und Medien begann im Alter von 15 Jahren. Heute ist es nicht nur ein wichtiger Teil meines Lebens sondern meine Passion.

Meine unkonventionelle Sicht auf Alltags- und Gesellschaftssituationen, welche ihren Ursprung in meinem Studium der Medienplanung, -Entwicklung und -Beratung an der Universität Siegen hat, bildet die Basis für medial hochwertige Produkte.

Ich liebe einfache und intelligent gestaltete Dinge, die für sich sprechen.
